Our Team

Shaby is responsible for performing research and analysis to support the team’s investment process. Before joining Hollow Brook, Shaby was an Associate at Jefferies Financial Group. At Jefferies he served on the Fixed Income Management team where he partook in functions ranging from business development, marketing, and credit analysis of the division’s strategic assets. While at Jefferies Shaby contributed to the formation of and subsequent participation in, Jefferies’ Family Office coverage business where he performed due diligence on cross-sector/asset transactional engagements on behalf of the firm’s family office clientele. Prior to Jefferies, Shaby worked at Ipreo where he advised corporate clients on matters of stock surveillance, board reporting and investor targeting. Prior to that, he worked under J.P. Morgan Chase’s Prime Brokerage business. Shaby graduated with distinction from The Pennsylvania State University receiving a BS in Finance. In his free time Shaby enjoys watching the Yankees, playing softball, and spending time with family and friends. Shaby is a CFA charterholder.
